We went to visit my sister Tanya last week and we had a great time!
The highlight of my trip (besides just getting to spend time with family) was being able to go to one of Hadley and Hannah's basketball games! They did a great job and won by 1 point in the last few seconds.
The highlight of Sawyer's trip was definitely the dogs. It has become ABUNDANTLY clear that Sawyer is a dog lover. Tanya has a golden retriever (Abby) and a cockapoo (Ezzi), and Sawyer would NOT leave them alone. Luckily, Ezzi is a puppy, so he didn't mind being wagged around by Sawyer for a few days. Abby, on the other hand, simply tolerated him.
Sawyer wanted to give Abby a kiss, but her tongue got him first!
Although I was grossed out, Sawyer didn't mind so much.
And here are some pictures of Sawyer in his favorite seat...I think I might get him one of these for home to see if that will help keep him still for a little while...
Because I'm a mean mom and have refused to do the Polly Pocket thing (I detest dressing them 4,374 times a day), Addie Grace was THRILLED to be up to her eyeballs in Polly Pockets on this trip! (Squelch your concerns over my daughter being deprived. Since she was able to prove to me that she can and will dress the Polly Pockets on her own, I am considering lifting the ban). Anyway, besides being in Polly Pockets bliss, Addie Grace's highlight was going to Hadley and Hannah's school Valentine party on Friday afternoon. She thought that was great!
Here are several random pictures from the trip...

We've had alot of things going on lately and haven't really been able to travel, so we were happy to get away for a few days. It was a great trip and we miss y'all already! My parents called yesterday, aching for their babies, so they are headed up tomorrow, so we get TWO weekends in a row of family! (And more importantly, Brian and I will get to sleep in on Saturday!!!) :)

I was on the trip too-remember? Where is the paragraph for the highlight of my trip?
For all of your interested readers, my favorite part was eating at Lambert's in Missouri.
You can rest easy now that you know the rest of the details.
Brian
Thank you Brian, for all the men out there that care about the food details more than kid details. You all can't help it.
Kym, I love that your nieces are so sweet and loving to your kids! I want to be y'all's sister too!!!
Please tell Nancy and Jerry to adopt me!
Welcome home! Three cheers for sleeping late on Saturday! My parents are coming this weekend...which means I WON'T be able to sleep in! They are farmers...and even in the city...are up with the chickens! They are also hard of hearing...so nobody else can sleep when they're awake:'D I'm sure glad they don't know about your blog and will NEVER see this post! Have fun with your family!

Great pictures of your sweet family...looks like you all had a great time. Brian, when we used to have 12 hours to drive to Missouri for Bill's parents, a promised stop at Lambert's was definitely always the highlight of the trip! Where are the pictures of you Kym???
How exciting for your kids to get to see the cousins ballgame and valentine's party. Yep, I think you need a doggie bed for Sawyer. HE IS SOOOO Cute.... and of course AG is beautiful (just like her momma). Thanks Brian for your details. I was wondering what you did. So glad grandparents are coming for a baby fix. I know the feeling. :( I get one on the 27th. They are coming up for the weekend.Love ya alllll, Darlene G.
