Ta Daaaaa!!! He Poops!!

Guess who asked to use the potty today?!? He's actually asked a few times in the last few weeks, but everytime he was put up there, he decided he wasn't a fan! I'm not sure what was different about today, but he was so excited to be up there and he actually used it!! Hooray, Sawyer!! He's such a BIG boy! It kind of makes me sad!! He hasn't wanted to get on anymore today, so we'll see how tomorrow goes...

And this video is per Addie Grace's request. She actually wanted me to have it put on TV, but when I told her I couldn't, she asked if I would at least put in on my blog...

And lastly, here's Sawyer with some messages for his grandparents. My parents were here last weekend and he's still walking around looking for Nana (he actually calls her Nina) and Pappy...when he can't find them, he'll say "Nana's house, Pappy's house!!" Also, for the first time today, he didn't want Addie Grace to go to preschool. When we got back in the car after dropping her off this morning, he said, "nooo, Addie Grace, home!!!" He walked around saying it all day today! I wrote it on the video in case you couldn't tell what he was saying...I love how he says "home". I guess he wanted her to come home so that he would have someone to fight with!!
Without further adieu, Sawyer...

A little late...

We went to visit my sister Tanya last week and we had a great time!
The highlight of my trip (besides just getting to spend time with family) was being able to go to one of Hadley and Hannah's basketball games! They did a great job and won by 1 point in the last few seconds.
The highlight of Sawyer's trip was definitely the dogs. It has become ABUNDANTLY clear that Sawyer is a dog lover. Tanya has a golden retriever (Abby) and a cockapoo (Ezzi), and Sawyer would NOT leave them alone. Luckily, Ezzi is a puppy, so he didn't mind being wagged around by Sawyer for a few days. Abby, on the other hand, simply tolerated him.
Sawyer wanted to give Abby a kiss, but her tongue got him first!

Although I was grossed out, Sawyer didn't mind so much.

And here are some pictures of Sawyer in his favorite seat...I think I might get him one of these for home to see if that will help keep him still for a little while...

Because I'm a mean mom and have refused to do the Polly Pocket thing (I detest dressing them 4,374 times a day), Addie Grace was THRILLED to be up to her eyeballs in Polly Pockets on this trip! (Squelch your concerns over my daughter being deprived. Since she was able to prove to me that she can and will dress the Polly Pockets on her own, I am considering lifting the ban). Anyway, besides being in Polly Pockets bliss, Addie Grace's highlight was going to Hadley and Hannah's school Valentine party on Friday afternoon. She thought that was great!
Here are several random pictures from the trip...

We've had alot of things going on lately and haven't really been able to travel, so we were happy to get away for a few days. It was a great trip and we miss y'all already! My parents called yesterday, aching for their babies, so they are headed up tomorrow, so we get TWO weekends in a row of family! (And more importantly, Brian and I will get to sleep in on Saturday!!!) :)

Spring Fever...

Two weeks sure have brought alot of changes to us here in Indy!! The highs have been in the 40's and 50's (might as well be Florida to me!!) and we've had some rain, so our 10+ inches of snow are mostly gone! Today, after preschool, we went to our little playground for a little while...we didn't get to stay long because it was muddy, but Addie Grace and Sawyer had fun while it lasted!

We're looking forward to warmer days!!!

Monkey See...

Sawyer is constantly studying Addie Grace and trying to do EVERYTHING that she does...it's gotten us into trouble a few times with falls and whatnot...I tell you, the boy is fearless...
Here's an example where he's not rolling backwards off of the kitchen table and landing on his head, impaling himself or something.
He was watching tv, paying no attention to Addie Grace, and then I guess he got curious as to just what she was doing...

I love it!!!
